In the afternoon of 17th November 2025, teams from Global Social Network, Germany, and Hope Theatre, Kenya, visited Mirraloke. The German delegation included Dr. Mario Thiergart, Mr. Axel Brummer, and Ms. Stefanie Dauben, while the Kenyan representatives were Mr. Moffat Moturi Akuma, Ms. Monica Audor, and Ms. Winfred Bruckmeier. During the visit, Mr. Partha Sarathi Bose, Head of Mirraloke, delivered a comprehensive briefing on the institution’s ethos. He clarified that Mirraloke is not a school but a learning centre. He elaborated on the educational philosophy of Mirraloke, which draws upon the principles of free progress and an integral approach to learning, inspired by the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. This educational model emphasizes personal development, creativity, and a holistic understanding of knowledge.
The teams were given the opportunity to explore some student-led projects including a herbal garden, and interacted directly with the students and their guides at Mirraloke. The discussions were insightful, covering a range of topics such as educational practices, cultural values, and the social dynamics of the countries Germany and Kenya. The visitors expressed their deep appreciation for the enriching experience, highlighting the meaningful exchanges and the opportunity to connect with the students and guides of Mirraloke.
