Mr. Axel Brummer, Ms. Iris and Mr. Max Roeder from Germany from Global Social and Marco Polo School on their visit to India came to Mirraloke on 12th October (2023) afternoon. Accompanying them were Mr. Kaushik Banerjee and Ms. Suvasri Banerjee of Global Social India. They interacted with the guides and children here and got an overview of the activities of learning going on based on the ideas and ideals of education as envisaged by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The children sang songs, showed their projects as well as crafts they had made.
The previous day (11th October 2023), team from Germany also visited Sri Sri Ramakrishna Sishutirtha Nursery Vidyamandir, a primary school near Khejuri in East Midnapore district, West Bengal, where Mirraloke supports in the school’s endeavour in implementing the ideas on integral education and participates regularly in teacher orientation programmes.
