On the occasion of Children’s Day (on 14th November 2022), a programme on science awareness was organised at Mirraloke, held by a team of scientists from The Science Association of Bengal. Some interesting experiments using ingredients from day to day life was demonstrated by Dr. Saikat Kumar Basu, an eminent scientist and professor. Children were given an idea on hobbies they can pursue by journalist Mr. Gopi De Sarkar. Apart from the students of Mirraloke, the programme was attended by a few other eminent guests from other walks of life like eminent actress Ms. Pinky Banerjee and scientist Professor Subhabrata Roy Chowdhury. The children present took apt interest in the session as well as interacted with the guests.
