On 9th February 2024, a workshop was held at Mirraloke on rocks and minerals. Held by Professor Debdas Roy, retired Professor of Geology, Asutosh College (Kolkata) and Calcutta University and Fulbright Scholar, the topic was presented to the children of Mirraloke in an easy and interesting way according to their age group. The most attractive part of the programme was that the children saw as well as held in their hands, samples of different rocks and minerals brought by Professor Roy. Dr. Saikat Kumar Basu, agricultural scientist and an eminent resource person associated with Mirraloke was also present.
